Privacy Policy

Privacy Statement
Flightpath applications are developed following a few guiding principles for collecting and presenting information:

  • Gather a minimum of information
We gather only the information required to achieve our core mission: improving the business operations of our customers and the professional lives of our users. FlightPath strives to deliver on its mission with a minimum of data collected, whether that data is integrated from other business systems or requested via user input. For example, FlightPath derives deep insight from customer calendar data by providing integration tools that filter out personal meetings (e.g. dentist appointments, soccer games and school drop-offs) and analytics engines that require only standard header information.
  • Default to anonymous
Business insights derived from analysis of company data or user input will be presented as anonymous to other users by default. In general, FlightPath will not present aggregated metrics unless they are about groups with 5 or more people in them to prevent users from deducing individual responses.
Some application features are designed to improve team communication and transparency. Understanding the source of particular types of data such as recognition and goal highlights is critical to achieving this mission. Text comments such as these are not anonymous.
  • Customizable privacy rules
We offer a range of privacy filters that business can use to protect their sensitive data. There are inherent tradeoffs to the quality and utility of datasets when removing significant information, but the filters are easy to configure and changes can be made throughout an engagement if it is determined that they are needed after launch.
Similarly, we offer individual users the ability to set preferences that control the privacy of their responses and the means by which they would like to interact with FlightPath products. For example, FlightPath users might prefer to respond to pulse questions via mobile application rather than email. In this case, they can easily set such a preference in their settings profile.
  • Highest standard of privacy and security practices
We strive to maintain compliance with the highest level of laws and recommended practices. We will not require 3rd party access to email servers or passwords; all operations on your servers are performed by your personnel. We strive to offer the highest security and encryption available.
